Simmons Buntin

Simmons Buntin is the founding editor-in-chief of Terrain.org, the world’s first online literary journal of place. He is the author of the forthcoming book Satellite: Essays of Fatherhood and Home, Near and Far (Trinity University Press, 2025) and a collection of sustainable community care studies, Unsprawl: Remixing Spaces as Places (Planetizen Press, 2013), as well as two collections of poetry: Bloom (2010) and Riverfall (2005), both published by Ireland’s Salmon Poetry. He is also co-editor of Dear America: Letters of Hope, Habitat, Defiance, and Democracy (Trinity University Press, 2020). He has published and lectured widely, serves as the director of marketing and communications at the University of Arizona’s College of Information Science, and lives in Tucson, Arizona.
