Steve Capone Jr.

Hailing from the Rust Belt, Steve Capone Jr. is the editor-in-chief of the newly formed indie horror publisher Whisper House Press. Their inaugural anthology, Costs of Living, is due out in September 2025. Steve is also an award-winning, multi-genre author. Earlier in 2024, he debuted his YA historical/espionage fiction novel Max in the Capital of Spies: A Max Fredericks Story. In 2026, Gibbs Smith’s True Fiction Press will distribute a second YA Cold War story, Jimmy vs. Communism. You can find his short fiction in anthologies, including LUW Press' We Are Dangerous and forthcoming Write Where You Belong, Timber Ghost Press' This Isn’t the Place, and the literary magazine Inkpot. He's a pizza advocate, Arctic Rescue dog helper, and proud member of the League of Utah Writers and the Horror Writers Association.
